This 1940's Zenith came to me with extensive grille damage, black staining on the top, veneer damage and extensive chipped veneer, dents and a patchy and degraded finish. I was able to restore the grille with identical wood so that the repairs are not visible. I removed black staining from the top walnut veneer, removed 90% of the dents, and restored the original color. It is now radiant under its nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
